How do you install a ceiling projector?

You can place the projector on almost any flat surface to project images.

You can also install the projector on a ceiling mount if you want to use it in a fixed location.
Warning : Please note the following points when installing the projector on the ceiling with a ceiling mount bracket or in a high place. If you do not install it correctly, the projector may fall. This may result in injury or accidents.
  • Since special methods are required to install the projector on the ceiling and to handle the ceiling mount bracket, you must contact a professional.
  • Bolt the bracket using the handle mounting section (6 points) to the top or base of the projector.
  • To prevent the projector from falling, pass a sufficiently strong steel cable through the ceiling mounting bracket and secure it to the ceiling.
Keep these recommendations in mind when selecting a location for the projector:
  • Place the projector on a solid, flat surface or install it with a compatible mounting bracket.
  • Install the projector at any angle. There is no vertical or horizontal limit for projector installation.
  • Allow sufficient space around and below the projector to ensure adequate ventilation as described herein, and do not place it on or near objects that may block the ventilation slots.
  • Position the projector so that it is parallel to the screen.
  • Place the projector within reach of a grounded outlet or extension cord.
Caution:
Allow at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space in front of air outlets and inlets.
You can attach the optional mounting handle to the back of the projector and place the projector on its side to project a vertical image. You can also remove the projector feet and attach them to the handle, as shown below.
Caution:
If you place the projector with the air inlet at the bottom, make sure to leave the following space around the projector.
1 3.9 in. (10 cm)
2 31.5 in. (80 cm)
3 13.78 in. (35 cm)

If you are installing multiple projectors side by side, allow at least 20 in. (50 cm) of space between the projectors. Also make sure that hot air from one air outlet does not enter the air inlet of another projector.

If you are stacking two projectors on top of each other, follow these guidelines:
  • Do not stack more than two projectors.
  • The projector below should have the handle installed on top of the projector.
  • Align the upper projector so that the feet are in the notches on the lower projector, as shown below.

  • Do not remove the feet from the bottom of the projector.
