How to adjust the image of a video projector?

If you install a projector in the living room, you need to purchase a screen where I like it

When using your home theater projector, you may need to adjust the image size to fit the surface you are projecting onto. There are two ways to increase or decrease the image size, which are described below:

1. Zoom the projector to move it closer or further away.
Move the projector closer to or further away from the surface on which the image is projected. When you move the projector closer to the screen or the area where the image is projected, the image size decreases. Conversely, when you move it further away, the image size increases.

It is important, after moving the equipment, to adjust the focus so that the image is clear and sharp. The focus adjustment is located on the lens of the equipment and, although it may vary in appearance depending on the manufacturer, it is normally a lever or rotating ring on the end of the lens.

2. zoom
There are two types of zoom:

Digital: This is the one that simulates the projector and is done through the control panel. That is, it is necessary to enter the projector configuration menu to make the adjustment.

Analog: This adjustment is done through the lens in the same way as the focus adjustment, by moving the lever or rotating ring from side to side until the desired result is achieved; it is important to mention that not all projectors have this function. If the lens has this capability, it will have two levers or rotating rings at the end of the lens: one that adjusts the focus and one that adjusts the image size (Zoom). Some devices can perform the analog zoom adjustment in a motorized way, from the control panel or by means of a remote control.

As you can see in the image, a “T” and a “W” are indicated:

T/Tele (Telephoto) and reduces the image.
W/Wide (Wide angle) and enlarges the image.
