How do you install a ceiling projector?
You can place the projector on almost any flat surface to project images.
- Since special methods are required to install the projector on the ceiling and to handle the ceiling mount bracket, you must contact a professional.
- Bolt the bracket using the handle mounting section (6 points) to the top or base of the projector.
- To prevent the projector from falling, pass a sufficiently strong steel cable through the ceiling mounting bracket and secure it to the ceiling.
- Place the projector on a solid, flat surface or install it with a compatible mounting bracket.
- Install the projector at any angle. There is no vertical or horizontal limit for projector installation.
- Allow sufficient space around and below the projector to ensure adequate ventilation as described herein, and do not place it on or near objects that may block the ventilation slots.
- Position the projector so that it is parallel to the screen.
- Place the projector within reach of a grounded outlet or extension cord.
If you are installing multiple projectors side by side, allow at least 20 in. (50 cm) of space between the projectors. Also make sure that hot air from one air outlet does not enter the air inlet of another projector.
- Do not stack more than two projectors.
- The projector below should have the handle installed on top of the projector.
- Align the upper projector so that the feet are in the notches on the lower projector, as shown below.
- Do not remove the feet from the bottom of the projector.
